Thank You, Starbucks

Although we never told Starbucks we were coming, they didn't give us any trouble last night. Some people thought it was a PR stunt for the coffee shop franchise, but in reality they had nothing to do with it. Enteng will be posting a new bulletin on Wednesday to tell you all about our new " black target" for next Friday. Meanwhile here are a few choice shots from last night:

Hi acidboy. We've never erased anyone's comment, either here or on our Black & White Movement Blog. If you check the comment page, you'll notice that the disclaimer says "comment removed by author".

We defend everyone's right to free speech, whether we are dissed or praised here or anywhere else. In fact, we defend all our inalienable rights. Apart from that, it's just good manners to listen.

I would suggest that you dont limit the flash meetings in places like Starbucks.

If its possible can you also hold meetings in carenderias, tiangges so that you will not alienate most of us middle class citizens.

Sa totoo lang, as middle class, we cannot afford Starbucks and other high end cafe.

Thank you

Canadian Bisdak, thanks for the ideas! We don't intend to make Starbucks our regular haunt, don't worry. Abangan na lang natin ang Bulletin #2 ni Enteng. :-D

I echo Canadian Bisdak's sentiments (before his message was erased!) Maybe after giving Starbucks some really good business, it's time to also patronize the small street businesses and lift up the spirits of the struggling enterpreneur trying to earn a few bucks...rather pesos... even for a short time---fishball vendors, for example...

I heard the Starbucks barista was arrested minutes after the Friday Starbucks silent protest....

The barista allegedly chanted anti-GMA statements in the store...

She was overheard saying...

"One mocha frapuccino for t@ngin@mogloriapandakbumabakanadyan!"

Hi there,

Nice pictures you have..., seems you're having fun doing the protests? And I am sure you enjoyed those Peso150 coffee from starbucks too?

All while people are still dying for not getting correct medical attention and kids still forgotten hungry and uncared for living on dumps and under those bridges...

Next time, why don't you stage your protests in Hotels, or better yet, out of the country, say in Disney Hongkong? I am sure it'll be more fun!
