Initial Report on our First Black Friday Flash Protest

I'm happy to report that at Starbucks 6750 Ayala where we went, there were about 80 to 100 people in black at its peak, enough to cover the outside seats.

Some of the personalities present included Dinky, Mely Nicolas, Ging Deles of the Hyatt 10; Former Usec Josie Lichauco; Congressmen Gilbert Remulla, Joel Villanueva, Justin Timmy Chipeco, and Florencio Noel; Vergel Santos, Bobby Manzano, and JB Baylon; Patrick Pantaleon, Jun Navarro; and Gloria Diaz. (My apologies to those I failed to mention)

ABS-CBN and some foreign media (print) were there to cover the event. With most of us wearing black t-shirts that read: "PATALSIKIN NA. NOW NA!", it must have been a sight to see on camera as we made our "thumbs down" act.

I heard that Starbucks Alabang was also filled with black patrons. And there was a group of students in black at Starbucks LaSalle, and a group of professionals at the Podium.

Please email me your own experience in the Starbucks outlet where you went and send me photos I can post at our blog site.

Considering that we only started this last Wednesday and most of our communications were through the internet, I think we made a pretty good showing that may just usher in a new form of protest against a repressive regime.

Let's keep the flames burning. Spread the word and see you all next week. Where? Abangan...

I will post a more detailed report on Monday after I have receipt feedback and photos from you.

God bless,

enteng

Condolence on the death of freedom because the Philippines is now led by a criminal, who thinks she owns the Philippines, and all that God has endowed it with as when she declares that God has placed her at the palace by the murky river instead of a mock People's Power where she connived with some corrupt judges, who admitted playing god.

True, they swore her as Acting President, and then, as president even before they could finish counting the votes when they found out that the high school dropout was winning despite the massive cheating during the May 2004 election.

Well, I feel sorry for ALL Filipinos whether they are for or against the criminal, who is desperately holding on to oiwer and doing a Hitler, but as the old adage say, "Crime does not pay."

HUWAG MATAKOT SA MGA KURAKOT! IPAGLABAN ANG KARAPATANG BATIKOSIN ANG ISANG KRIMINAL NA NAGPAPANGGAP NA PANGULO NG PILIPINAS! IPAGLABAN ANG KARAPATANG HUWAG GAGUHIN NG ISANG KRIMINAL!.

I'll not join, it waste of my time. I've seen majority of people are tired of this kind of play. Instead lets work hard and help the govenment.. wala ng katapusan ang ganito kahit sino pa ang maupong presidente. Magbago na sana ang mga Filipino.
